THE TECHNOLOGY
Under-Vehicle Lift Systems
Traditional platform lifts steal floor space and shrink your van’s interior. Under-vehicle lifts solve this, because the entire mechanism stores beneath the vehicle, leaving your full floor plan available for sleeping, gear, a kitchen, or anything else you need.
How Under-Vehicle Lifts Work
Stored Beneath the Van
When not in use, the entire lift platform and arm mechanism folds up flush underneath the van, making it completely out of sight, out of the way, and freeing 100% of the interior floor space.
One-Button Deploy
Press a button (or use a remote) and the platform automatically swings out and lowers to ground level. No manual lifting, no assistance required, it's a fully independent operation.
Roll On, Secure, Rise
The wheelchair rolls onto the platform, which includes retention lips and safety features. The platform rises to floor level and locks into place for a smooth, stable, controlled transition.
Roll In to Your Vandoit
At floor height, roll directly into the van. The full interior is available complete with bed, kitchen, seating, gear storage, and whatever else your adventure build includes.
THE TECHNOLOGY
Dual-Arm Lift for Slider Door
Vandoit integrates the BraunAbility Century 2, a fully hydraulic, side-entry wheelchair lift that deploys through the slider door and folds back inside the van when not in use. Your rear cargo space stays completely open for bikes, kayaks, and adventure gear.
How This Lift Works
Slider Door Opens, Lift Deploys
Open the slider door and press the hand-held control (or optional remote). The fully hydraulic system automatically unfolds and swings the platform out through the door opening.
Platform Lowers to the Ground
Dual hydraulic lifting arms lower the platform smoothly to ground level. The yellow inboard barrier drops automatically as a safety indicator, which is fully visible and FMVSS 403 compliant.
Roll On, Rise, Roll In
Roll onto the platform, rise to floor height, and roll directly into the full interior. The platform then folds back and stows inside with the same one-button operation in reverse.
Stowed Inside the Van
When not in use, the Century 2 folds upright and stores inside the van near the slider door opening and out of the way, protected from weather, and leaving the rear cargo area completely accessible for gear.
