Brakes and Rotors

We’ve seen brand-new Transits with just 7,000 miles already needing new brakes due to heat damage—often caused by two-foot driving or extended/recurring descents in mountainous terrain. To prevent rotor wear and handle extreme conditions, we upgrade every van with thermal-coated rotors and specialized break pads specific to the Transit platform and adventure use.

Bilstein & Leaf Springs

Many associate suspension upgrades with off-roading, but in reality, Bilstein shocks and upgraded leaf springs are key to improving highway stability and comfort. They significantly reduce sway from crosswinds, smooth out bumps, and minimize that suction effect from passing semi trucks. Our clients note a night and day difference in their driving confidence, safety, and comfort.

Tire Alignment

To maximize ride quality and tire longevity, we use precision Hunter equipment to measure and balance each tire and wheel individually, identifying high spots and optimal placement for grip, alignment, and minimal road pull. Unlike standard shops that rely on broad alignment tolerances and front-end squaring, we’re dialing in our own system that squares from each individual tire for tighter tolerances and a more controlled, stable drive.

Transit Know How

Believe it or not, most shops don’t even have the right lift to get a van in the air. Transitsts require the right lift, specialized tools like counterclockwise caliper compressors, and a deep understanding of the platform. With years of exclusive Transit experience, our shop is equipped to handle every detail the right way, avoiding the costly mistakes that are common in general repair settings.
